Learning Experience

Hi everyone, sorry for not blogging in such a long time , school and dance has kept me occupied. Today I'm not going to be blogging about dance for once. I'm going to talk about a google chat hangout that my teacher had the class participate in. We were talking to Paige Woodward who is a senior from Franklin Community High School . Paige focuses on social media in the education system and letting people know the proper way to use it. This was the first time that are whole class has done a google hang out before and it was a great experience. Paige, taught me a lot through the google hangout and I hope to improve my digital citizenship and using social media in the correct way. I learned how to use social media sites like Twitter and Instagram in a more professional way. It is a good idea (for Twitter,Instagram, etc)to create two different accounts , one with friends and other for work, Buisness or jobs. Your social media is your digital footprint and it will be there forever, so it is important to watch what to put on social media. It is always good to stay positive and kind. With internet being a big part of the world today many people have been successful from it, by YouTube, Instagram,Twitter Facebook , vine and many other things. The internet can come with many oppurtunites  and to get those opportunists you have to present youself online in the best way. Many colleges check your social background today and sometimes your social media can affect your future. I also learned from Paige how to manage time better. She is a busy person just like me but planning out and not procrastinating will help manage time. Digital Citizenship is something that not everyone knows about and it's important that we let everyone know. Anyways, I hope you have a great week and I promise my next post will be about dance!!

  1. It's always so encouraging to see young people recognize key issues relating to digital citizenship. Always be cognizant of the digital footprints you leave behind. I have a keen interest in dance so it was great checking out your blog. Best wishes.
